TRESA's Meetings
TRESA holds two types of meeting: committee meetings and general members' meetings. Both are held every two months and alternate. In December the general meeting is classed as an annual general meeting. All residents of Totterdown are welcome to attend the general members' meetings. If you're not a member of TRESA you can join on the night for just £2 each. Note that you have to have been a member for 3 months to be able to vote.
If you'd like to join the committee you need to fill in a nomination form. You can do this at any time in the year, if there is a vacancy. At the Annual General Meeting (in December) all the posts are up for nominations and subject to a general vote of the members. Nominations need to be received by the Chair or Secretary two weeks in advance of the AGM.
If you'd like to submit a formal motion to the AGM, please fill in a motion form and submit it to either the Chair or Secretary. You don't need to fill in a form to raise an issue at the meetings - they're usually very informal affairs. The AGM is the only one that has official business to undertake, and it has an informal session once that bit is done.
The dates for this year's general meetings are: Tuesday 19 February, Tuesday 15 April, Tuesday 17 June, Tuesday 19 August, Tuesday 21 October, all held at 7.30 pm the Star and Dove on St Luke's Road. Our annual general meeting (AGM) will be held at 7.30 pm on Tuesday 9 December at Greg's Cafe on Wells Road.
The dates for this year's committee meetings are: Tuesday 18 March, Tuesday 20 May, Tuesday 15 July, Tuesday 16 September, Tuesday 4 November.
The notes from both committee and general members' meetings are published on this website. Follow the links below to the year and meeting type.
