City trees are great – not only do they improve the environment but they help improve our mental health and well-being. This Autumn we are celebrating the wonderful variety of trees we have growing in Totterdown and we are completing an audit to see if we can work out how many different species of trees we have growing here.
Would you like to help with this project? We need volunteers to help by making a record of the trees in their street or maybe a nearby public space. Let us know what you could do so we can co-ordinate everyones efforts and remember we are keeping to just the trees inside Totterdown/Tresa’s boundary.
You can reply to this email address: firstname.lastname@example.org
and to help there are some very good leaf identification guides which can be downloaded from the Woodland Trust site.
