Free wild flower workshop, Victoria Park

Local ecologist Alex Morss ( www.alexmorss.co.uk ) is running a free wild flowers workshop with Buglife in Victoria Park on 14th July for #BeesNeedsWeek (see poster below). The workshop is 10.00am-1.00pm, meeting at the Bowls Club.
This will be useful to #UrbanBuzz volunteers or anyone keen to learn or improve their wild flower identification and looking for inspiration to help pollinators. Our wildlife group and community volunteers have been busy creating wild flower areas in the park to help pollinators and other wildlife, so you will learn a bit about that too if you come along.
Places are limited on this workshop, so please book asap via Hayley (email: hayley.herridge@buglife.org.uk ).
Urban Buzz is Buglife’s big project to create 100 new pollinator sites across Bristol (and several other cities) by planting up green spaces with wild flowers. Hayley is also keen to hear from people, schools and community groups interested in helping to create more pollinator wild flower areas on community green spaces.
