News from Councillors Mark Bailey and Alf Havvock: "The Filwood, Knowle and Windmill Hill Neighbourhood Partnership unanimously decided to confirm that two valuable green spaces in Totterdown will be retained as green space and will not be offered for sale as part of the council's green space strategy. Alf and I, supported by many local residents, have worked together to make sure that the green outside the old YMCA building and the Higham Street Green were removed from the strategy. We are therefore delighted that the vote last Tuesday evening completely lifts any threat to these greens and secures their long term future."
