The time period for making a decision about Hadley’s proposed development including a 17-storey tower-block on the old Esso garage site at Totterdown Bridge has been extended to 15th February 2019.
This is to allow time to consider responses (from the developer?) on issues that have been identified within the application.
TRESA is keeping an eye on this proposal and, along with others, has made a strong objection. We believe the site needs redevelopment, but this proposal constitutes gross over-development of the site, does not take local character and views into consideration, and does not consider the importance of the River Avon wildlife corridor.
If you have not given your views yet, please do so. The plans, application and commentary are available here.
The letter informing the developer of the time extension is here: 18_04620_F–1949397
