60 days over 10 months – £7,500 project fee
Playing Out is a small (tiny!) organisation with a huge vision: “Children across the UK can play out safely on the streets and estates where they live”. We are passionate about this vision and about growing a national grassroots movement for street play. We have a great, practical change-making model that people – especially parents – respond to and we have grown a national movement involving thousands of people. Our challenge now is to make sure as many people as possible know about Playing Out and are inspired to take action in their streets and communities. We have had excellent traditional media coverage but know we could be making better strategic use of social and digital media to reach the right audiences and bring about greater change.
We are therefore looking for someone practical and highly social media literate to take on the immediate challenge of maximising our effective use of digital and social media towards achieving our goals. The right candidate will have the vision, skills and energy to significantly amplify our messages, increase our following and influence and grow the grassroots street play movement, this year and beyond.
