Eat Your Greens

Hello Everyone.

As I’m sure you’re aware, sharing public spaces and being in a crowd isn’t really the best idea at the moment. Therefore EYG will not be open this week (save for Mothering Sunday roast pre-orders / collection – more on that to follow).

As of next week (w/c 23/3) we will be providing take-away / collection for both Brunch and Evening meals. Food can be ordered directly through our website. I am currently designing a new menu and painstakingly adding all our food to an online catalogue!

Mothering Sunday: we will be making roasts available for collection on Sunday at either 1pm or 4pm, if you would like to order a roast please email me on, we have a limit of 20 per time slot.

Wriggle have very kindly set up an ‘Indie Kitty’ voucher system if you wish to support us through this closure time. Vouchers are between £5-£40 and the intention is that you will redeem them in the future, once we are allowed to have you in the cafe again! If you are going to very kindly buy a voucher – thank you – it will most definitely help to scrape us through what is potentially an extremely risky time for our business. Your support means everything.

Important… coronovirus and not coronavirus. A message of LOVE and SAFETY. A message of Mother’s Day love. This can be a difficult time anyway, but right now it is feeling scary and strange in ways if hope we’re just residue of ‘madness’.

Okay, in order to keep us all as safe as possible but also keep connecting, sharing the love and healing vibes – which is what we are all about…we are doing a few things that might help.

As well as our direct delivery service to the recipient, you can also get us to deliver if you are self- isolating. We are available as of tomorrow (March 18) to do deliveries all day till 9pm, through to Sunday midday…

You can do a completely cashless and non touch exchange of our healing flowers.
We are following government and health regulations for keeping us as safe as possible and you. You can call 01117 3292720 or 07988725999
You can fill in the online order form and we will contact you.
You can pop in to collect if you arrange this, and want to do it in person

Basically we are here, if you need flowers we can get them to you, and we will do it as safely and with all the love. We are here so you don’t feel so isolated too. Flowers are energy and energy is love and right now that is where all my universal healing energy is going. Into the flowers. I believe they can help us all. Really truly. Look after each other. X

Fox and West

Our staff are totally amazing, I’m sure you’ll agree…we want to keep them safe and healthy and so we’re bringing forward our cashlessness! We would urge you to pay with card, contactless whenever possible. We also have a business PayPal set up for remote payments and have started doing some deliveries for self- isolating customers, please give us a shout if we can help you out in any way. We are doing our very best to stay stocked up and hope to be able to support you through this strange time for as long as we can. Thank you again for your custom and positivity, it means a lot to us.

Our mornings have been pretty hectic as we’re having to get a lot more veg in than usual, so we’d really appreciate a little extra time to get things ready for you…let us know if this isn’t possible and if you can give us a rough time for collection and we’ll do our very best to get it prepared for you…💚 The amazing people @frenchgardenbristol are still getting plenty of fresh fruit and vegetable to us daily, so we’ll be as stocked up as possible.

The Oxford pub, Totterdown

Feeling lots of mixed emotions right now, a bit of anxiety & a whole heap of uncertainty being the main two.. Not sure how long we can stay open for, how long we should stay open for, or even how long it’s financially viable to stay open for.. I guess we take it one day at a time as things are changing on a daily basis.

One thing that is a certainty is that I’ve been overwhelmed with the support we’ve received so far & proud to have such amazing friends as locals…

I promise to keep you fully informed of any decisions/routes of action we decide to take..Many thanks for your wonderful support.

This week:

The Shakespeare, Totterdown

This coming Sunday we will be serving a fantastic menu, and if you can’t come join us why not order a takeaway dinner to enjoy at home with your amazing mother. Just call us on 01179770564 and arrange to pick it up. Or message us on Facebook.

 Totterdown Canteen

We, like many of you have been watching, listening and trying to understand what’s going on and how to deal with the spread of Corona Virus.

We are very proud of our high standards of cleanliness in the Canteen and our team have been doing their upmost to make sure we clean as much as we can.

Our team are being monitored in their own personal well-being and the dos and don’t whilst this outbreak continues.

The government’s position is to avoid all restaurants, cafes, bars & theatres etc. As a small family run business to shut completely will be devastating and our team will suffer severe hardship. We will remain open as long as it’s safe to do so.

If you are self-isolating or you do not wish to come to us, or we do have to shut the canteen to walk in custom, then you can order through Deliveroo or UberEats for delivery. Deliveroo are now offering contactless delivery. Please see their website for details.

*Please note delivery charges and restrictions may apply when ordering.

We just wanted to take this opportunity to ask you all to stay safe and think of each other and to also thank you for your continued support and custom in these difficult days and weeks ahead.
