This is a monthly update on the Victoria Park cycle route works:-
• All fencing along paths has been removed, and the paths are now available for use
• The vast majority of surfacing work is completed, except for the Nutgrove Ave north entrance
• The stone mason is currently working on restoring the historic entrance pillars
• The contractor will be setting back the entrance at the St Luke’s Rd / Hill Avenue entrance
• Defects on the route will be picked up with the contractor as they complete the works. We are aware of issues with the cobble rumble strips, and these will be corrected shortly.
• Three benches are currently in store (two of these are historic benches), and these will be installed before completion
• The project end date is still set for mid-August.
Kind regards
