Talk of Totterdown is the newsletter of the local community, carrying news of upcoming events, topics of local interest and ideas for improving our neighbourhood. It is issued four times a year, and paid for through membership subscriptions and advertising.

Talk of Totterdown is delivered by volunteers, but we are always grateful for more help! If you are able to deliver to your street please get in touch.

Autumn 2026 issue is now out!

In this latest edition:

Details of revised proposals for Totterdown likely to be taken forward as part of South Bristol Liveable Neighbourhood. Following consultation and feedback a number of proposals have been dropped or amended – including plans for one way streets across the area which had been a source of concern for residents and businesses. Going forward Bristol City Council Transport and Connectivity Policy Committee will consider the next steps for the SBLN scheme in December. If approved, plans would be submitted to the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority to seek the funding to build the scheme.
Totterdown Art Trail – ‘Homegrown and thriving’, and celebrating its 26^th year! Taking place over the weekend 14-15 November, expect creativity turned up to the max with surprises galore as well as familiar talent in homes, community spaces and public venues across Totterdown. Thanks to our fabulous creatives for making this event such a yearly highlight!
Celebrating Nature in Totterdown – bees, butterflies, moths and flowers and a simple guide on how to encourage glyphosate free streets in our neighbourhood.

TRESA Membership costs just £5 a year and enables us to fund community projects and produce a printed copy of Talk of Totterdown which is distributed throughout Totterdown.
