1.       A final opportunity to complete Bristol City Council’s short survey of the city’s businesses and organisations intended to gain a more detailed understanding of the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic. The survey will close later today, Friday 15 May, and can be accessed hereWith thanks again to those who have already contributed.

2.       A package of major transport improvements in Bristol have been unveiled, paving the way for safer and better public transport, cleaner air and improved walking and cycling routes. In response to the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown conditions, plans to accelerate existing long-term transport ambitions have been announced; read more here.

6.       Building Growth South West are running a free online course, funded by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), to help people who are unemployed or thinking of a career in Construction. The course can be completed in a week and is designed to help the learner onto the next phase of their journey, into CSCS training, which can also be offered free of charge to those suitable; see attached below for further detail.
