Spring is finally on its way after what has seemed a very long winter, and, as the weather starts to get brighter, brings opportunities to get out and enjoy our green spaces.
Join the TACA team up at ‘Zone A’ on Wells Road for their Spring Forward event on 26th March, take a trip down to the community orchard to check on our new fruit trees, or opt for a meander in the peace and tranquillity of Arnos Vale. These delightful plots of greenery in the heart of the city are a very precious resource for all living things.
In this latest edition:
- Congratulations to Friends of Jubilee Pool and all their supporters for their amazing fundraising activities;
- Totterdown’s Heritage – Miranda Walker introduces us to Dame Clara Butt;
- Wake up and smell the coffee with the imminent opening of Boona Boona Coffee Roasters;
- Online games can be creative, inventive but also mindful – local talent Louis Durrant takes us up ‘The Garden Path’.
Thanks as always to our contributors, volunteer deliverers, advertisers and readers. Enjoy!
