The end of the elected Mayor system: what’s next?

TRESA public meeting, Tuesday 9 January, 7.30pm, ArtPark 143 Wells Road

In May, the elected mayor system will come to an end. Marvin Rees will stand down, there will be local elections, and the new committee system will take over.

What is the committee system?

How will it work?

What does it mean for local democracy?

At the TRESA public meeting on Tuesday 9 January, there will be a presentation on the new committee system and an opportunity to ask questions.

It’s not as boring as it sounds, and it is important for local democracy, so please come along and join us!

Please bring any Totterdown neighbours and friends who may be interested.

There will also be an update on TRESA’s activities, and an opportunity for you to give your views and raise any concerns you have about life in Totterdown.

We hope to see you then!
