Despite the excessively hot and dry weather, many residents of Totterdown have been working hard to keep their gardens attractive and brighten up our streets. The judges have been out and about, giving out almost 400 awards this year for the four categories: Front Garden planting, Small Garden, Nature Friendly and Grow to Eat. Thank you to all the gardeners and the judges – we couldn’t do it without you!
We are grateful to Emma, our final judge, who made the difficult decision of who should win the prizes this year. Totterdown Traders vouchers have now been distributed for the winning gardens in Hill Street, Upper Street and Bushy Park. We are grateful to The Banana Boat, The Bakehouse, Sundial Kitchen and Totterdown Canteen for serving our community and agreeing to accept the vouchers.
