1 – Opening

SH was unable to attend but provided the following table:

SA asked if the funds for the multicultural book could be transferred for a multicultural mosaic for
Totterdown. This was agreed. Action: SH, SA

Jen Ford to be formally appointed as a director with Companies House. Action: GA, JF
c. Membership secretary
96 paid members, 11 friends.
AS to check with SH about a possible problem with email addresses. Action: AS, SH
d. Web Editor
All working well.
e. Talk of Totterdown / eToT
The next issue is almost ready for proofing.
3. Projects
a. Totterdown Sprouting
Apple pressing went well. Photographs were taken for an exhibition relating to food production in
community spaces.
Bulb planting will take place during November.
Tree planting can be supported through a Woodland Trust initiative. There was a discussion about
small trees suitable for Totterdown gardens. JF to send details of tree suitability too AS. AS to write
an article about trees in the Talk of Totterdown. TRESA to actively promote tree planting. JF is
working to promote the Sustainable Development Goals. Action: SA, JF
b. Stanley Hill rat-run
There has been a problem with fractious drivers who release the road is currently blocked for
building works. Cllr Jon Wellington is due to meet with local resident LW
c. Zone A
No progress. AS to contact the remaining TACA representative. Action: AS
d. Zone N
Still no progress. SH to consider submitting a formal question to a Bristol City Council meeting. Action:
SH
f.Air quality
GA to submit a response to the consultation as the Chair of TRESA and to consider another question
to Bristol City Council. Action: GA
Details of the consultation to be circulated to all TRESA members. Action: SA
4. Planning
No planning items were raised.
5. AOB
a. Jubilee Pool
TRESA is in favour of keeping the pool open. The consultation has been extended. An article about
the pool will be included in the next Talk of Totterdown. Action: CJ
b. Future speakers
For the public meeting on 18 th November GA and JF will approach their contacts who may be able to
present on trees and tree planting. Action: GA, JF
c. Other
JF asked for support over threatened workshop units just off Dean Lane, Bedminster.
SH to be asked for an update on the TRESA survey.

The next meeting will be on Wednesday 18th November 2020, 7.30pm online via Zoom.
This will be focussed around Trees.
