2. Guest Speaker – C.H.E.E.S.E
Iris Partridge, Project Manager for Cold Homes Energy Efficiency Survey Experts. A not- for-profit which works with communities to tackle fuel poverty and energy waste. (Slides provided.)

All is up-to-date on the Companies House website.

The website is generally working well. No updates.
e. Talk of Totterdown / eToT
Winter edition now published and being delivered. It promotes the Art trail so needs to be delivered before Art trail weekend.
4. Projects
a. Totterdown Sprouting
Gardening group meets next Monday in Totterdown Square (Oxford Street shopping area); a tree has been planted on Zone A; an offer of Silver Birch whips to be purused for planting in and around Totterdown.
b. Community mosaic
CIL/Section 106 application for community mosaic is progressing.
c. Sustainable travel
An application has been submitted to TravelWest for second signpost (showing walking
distances and times to green spaces in and around Totterdown.
5. Planning
a. Mead Street
An objection has been submitted about the process of the planning committee meeting at which the development on the Old Bart Spices site was approved;
Concerns were raised about the way in which a developer ripped out trees and hedging around the Old Bart Spice site, and the potential to lose more trees in the Mead Street area as other development are proposed.
Action: TPO process to be pursued with support from TRESA
b. Temple Quarter
A representative of Temple Quarter will present on plans for the area at TRESA’s public meeting in January;
c. YMCA building
a planning application has been submitted to convert the basement of Old YMCA building to offices for a PR company, TRESA has supported the application;
d. Patco Community cafe
Patco has submitted an application for a community café, which TRESA will support.
Action: TRESA to submit a statement in support of Patco’s application.
6. AOB
a. Lorries on Wells Road
Action: Liaise with Cllr Ed Plowden over response from Bristol City Council to concerns raised.
Action: Consider speed monitoring following speed watch training from Avon and Somerset Police.
b. Anti-social behaviour
Anti-social behaviour is being monitored.
Action: A police representative to be invited to TRESA’s pubic meeting next year (probably March)
c. Lorries in Totterdown
Lorries accessing Cabot Tyres via Windsor Terrace have hit two vehicles. Could this be drivers following SatNav?
Action: Contact Cllr Ed Plowden about the possibility and/or enforcement of restricting the size of vehicles entering Totterdown’s narrow streets.
d. No 2 bus route
Drivers are sometimes ending the route in the centre of Bristol, leaving passengers to walk to other bus-stops some distance away to catch another bus.
Action: FirstBus and Cllr Plowden to be contacted about problems with No2 bus.
e. Bristol Unicorn Festival 2023
Action: TRESA to pursue participating in the festival by sponsoring a Unicorn foal.
