Minutes of the TRESA Directors Meeting held on 8th October 2024 at Clyde Road
Present: Anne Silber (Chaired the meeting), Robin Millard, Miranda Walker, Charlie Mercer, Simon Hobeck, Suzanne Audrey (arrived during Treasurer’s Report due to attendance at Full Council meeting)

No questions or matters were raised on the minutes of the last meeting.
Reminder that deadline for next “Talk of Totterdown” is imminent,
Company Secretary Report
Charlie Mercer has been appointed as a TRESA director and accepted by Companies House.
Treasurer Report
TRESA has approximately £4,500 in funds. There was discussion around the ongoing costs of Talk of Totterdown at approximately £250 an issue and it was suggested that local businesses might sponsor an issue if it was focussed on their business and advertised their services.
It was proposed and agreed that annual TRESA membership cost for new members would be increased to £5 p.a. Existing members would be encouraged to renew at £5 p.a.
Suitable opportunities for grant applications should be considered. There is currently an opportunity to apply for funds from Bristol City Council for a community event.
Urban Nature Reserve
Anne and Simon have been working on plans for an online map of gardens, public green spaces, ponds, etc. which would be accessible through TRESA web site.
This would also include wildlife corridors and the map would be managed by TRESA.
Totterdown Sprouting
Dates to be confirmed for: Autumn Orchard Work Party; Wassail with Morris Dancing.
Tree grafting workshop to be arranged.
Zone A Bulb Planting on 16th & 17th November.
Garden Group meetings are well attended and ongoing.
Road Issues
No news on issues with Angers Road – to be raised with local councillors.
Proposed closure of Bellevue Road – meeting to be held on site on Wednesday 9th October with council officers. (Post Meeting note: Meeting took place with an officer from transport department and another from Liveable Neighbourhoods team – attended by 5 local people and Suzanne and Robin from TRESA.)
Liveable Neighbourhoods
There will be a public engagement stall for South Bristol Liveable Neighbourhood at Totterdown Square on Friday 11th October 2024 from 11 am until 3 pm.
