As we head into Winter there are still plenty of opportunities to get out and about – not least of which is Totterdown Arts Trail which this year features some 162 artists, makers and entertainers across a broad range of disciplines in homes and public venues across Totterdown. Most are open from 11am-6pm and some venues also open for preview night Friday 17 November, with many of our pubs featuring music across the weekend. - Bruhaha beer taproom and nano brewery opens at 156 Wells Road.
- Hillcrest Hubbub – the Year 5 press pack from Hillcrest School bring us news of the school’s latest icons celebrating P.R.I.D.E. in the school, and news of a very talented postie!
- The latest piece in the Totterdown Heritage series takes a look at Church of the Holy Nativity with its distinctive green copper Spire. The church was first consecrated in 1883, replacing an earlier wooden structure built back in 1865.
- We also wish a fond farewell and good luck to Assilah Bistro and Bristol Upholstery Workshop.

As we head towards the festive season, there are lots of events and entertainment to enjoy in our community venues, churches, pubs, cafes and bars, and do visit our fabulous local independents for a spot of sustainable Christmas shopping!
