Wood Recycling Project’s crowdfunding success

Bristol Wood Recycling Project has undertaken a successful fundraising campaign to buy its premises through a bond offer. The offer raised £430,000 which will be used to buy the project’s new base in St Philips and allow the project to grow.

The St Philips site (Unit 4, William Street, Bristol BS2 0RG) includes a self-contained yard, a large workshop and office space. Buying the site will result in significant cost savings and secure the long-term future of the project.

Bristol Wood Recycling Project is a social enterprise working to benefit the community and the environment, providing a competitive wood waste collection service, timber yard for trade and public, and a wood workshop in which volunteers learn to produce bespoke furniture to order.
