Bristol has been chosen as one of only three places in England to host a free one-day national roadshow of seminars and workshops aimed at helping smaller business owners. The event, staged by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), will give practical advice and support to help owners of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Free seminars will run throughout the day on subjects spanning making best use of social media, the increasing risk of cybercrime to businesses, getting the right auto-enrolment pension plan and the vital role played by female business owners. There will also be an exhibition area for business owners to speak face-to-face with FSB providers and event sponsors FSB Insurance Service, waste management company Biffa and printer firm Epson, who will be on hand to offer support and advice.
The Bristol FSB Roadshow – which is open to FSB members and non-members – takes place at the Paintworks Events Space, Bath Road, on November 2. It will be opened by a so-far-unnamed VIP.
