Mayor Marvin Rees will be at Victoria Park Baptist Church (at the corner of Sylvia Avenue and St John’s Lane, Bristol BS3 5DA) on Friday 19th January from 10 – 12 noon. This is an opportunity for local residents to come along and engage with the elected Mayor in a lovely local venue and discuss ideas, suggestions and challenges facing the local area in and around Windmill Hill ward. Please let me know if you plan to come along so I can plan for the numbers (chairs and tables etc.)
Victoria Park Baptist Church also run a food bank on a Friday morning and a lunch club so it’s not only a very busy but a welcoming venue. If you have hamper extras left over from Christmas and want to donate them to the food bank I am sure they would be very glad to receive them.
