No doubt you’ve heard about how the Council plans to save £92m+. Part of that is the proposed cut of the majority of Neighbourhood Partnerships (NP) funding, effectively ending NPs as a Council supported way in which residents can have a relationship with the local authority. This means that Neighbourhood Forums will probably not continue in their present form because Council officers (like me) might not be around for much longer to support them. As such, this could be our final Windmill Neighbourhood Forum on Weds 22 Feb, 7pm at Victoria Park Baptist Church, Sylvia Avenue, BS3 5DA.
- What does that mean for this area?
- What relationship do you the residents, groups and other stakeholders, want with the Council in the future, if Neighbourhood Partnerships are finishing?
- A chance to say what you think and discuss this
Also…
Cycle routes – there will also be information available to view on the proposed cycle route works to take place in the area
Bristol Waste – an officer will be present
It will be good to have this discussion as a community and see where this might lead.
