The late summer sunshine is lovely, but there is definitely an autumnal nip in the air once the sun goes down, and still some unease as we watch the Covid infections rate with an anxious eye.
It would be great to think that we can finally get back to enjoying the best that our wonderful cafes and pubs have to offer; events and meals and drinks with friends inside as the weather cools.
Huge thanks to all our businesses for contributing to a very chilled vibe in Totterdown this summer. We are fortunate to be able to find most things we need within easy walking distance, and working from home has meant more regular contact with others in our community. Even a cheery wave across the road as we put our recycling bins out or a smile as you pass on the way to the shops – it’s all interaction with others which is something we really have come to appreciate more.
In this latest edition:
- A successful Sustainable Travel event on Zone N – great to hear what people think of our plans to provide a ‘Mobility Station’.
- Front Garden Award winners.
- A funky new venue for ART and events – Adam from ArtPark shares his plans with us and we hear about Viva Bristolia!
- 122 Bath Road development proposals – provide your views via Bristol City Council planning portal.
Here’s to a thriving community!
