There’s lots of positive community activity to celebrate in this issue as we emerge from the dark days of winter into Spring. With the blossom already on the cherry tree at Totterdown Square and our latest Community Mosaic now installed on the corner of Windsor Terrace and St Lukes Road, the colour is coming back!

- Thanks to TACA, Totterdown Sprouting and volunteers from our community for a mammoth clear up operation, and creating Totterdown Nature Trail on Zone A. With so many new trees and shrubs this will prove a happy home and rich source of food for many insects and birds and a perfect place to enjoy seasonal changes in our flora and fauna. Look out for wild flower planting later in the Spring! - Hillcrest Hubbub – the Year 5 press pack take a visit to Doveton Press to find out more about what goes behind printing ‘Talk of Totterdown’, and celebrate Doveton’s commitment to sustainability in business.
- ArtPark Gallery has plenty of events to keep you busy over the next few months. Don’t miss Bristol Gallery Weekend 21-24 March. There are also rum blendings and rum tastings, as well as Vera and Floriography Flower Club which takes place on the last Thursday of every month from 7pm-9pm.

On 2nd May there will be local elections and Bristol will move from an elected mayor to a new committee system. Local elections are an opportunity to make your voice heard – candidates will be out canvassing so do take time to ask questions and vote for the changes you want.
