With Summer finally here and lockdown restrictions easing, the latest issue is full of celebratory stories – 40 years for St Peters Hospice shop, 25 years for The Banana Boat, a lovely new café for us to enjoy at Sundial Kitchen, Amba House and good numbers of lesser horseshoe bats in Arnos Vale cemetery.
We also welcome the return of the Totterdown Front Garden Awards – with plenty of time on our hands it looks like the community has gone all out on making the most of those outside spaces!
Three gardens will win £10 prizes this year:
Best mini-garden (for pots, window boxes, hanging baskets etc)
Best front garden (for the lucky people in Totterdown who have a front garden)
Wildlife friendly (for those who care about birds, bees and insects)
