Totterdown’s most recent mosaic is a celebration of our diverse community. Different sections of the mosaic represent some notable aspect of our amazing community:

  • TRESA Totterdown’s residents’ group;
  • Zone A green space, given to the community following the demolitions;
  • Bristol Lesbian and Gay Switchboard (BLAGS) founded 40 years ago in a house in Hill Street, Totterdown;
  • Totterdown Children’s Community Workshop (TCCW);
  • Polish shops (SKLEP);
  • Jamaican patois (IRIE);
  • Our several churches (Prayer)
  • Bristol Jamia Mosque in Green Street;
  • Arnos Vale cemetery (RIP),
  • The parks in our area and on our doorstep
  • We’ve got some interesting steps,
  • Our range of gardens,
  • The brightly coloured homes,
  • Totterdown is famous for its art,
  • We have a diverse music scene,
  • Totterdown’s LGBT+ community,
  • and the many lovely faces of Totterdown.
