Thank you to everyone who supported TRESA’s sustainable transport event on Busy Park green space today, Saturday 31st July. At least 45 local people came along.
Avon and Somerset Police were busy security marking bicycles for several hours.
Meanwhile the Travel West Roadshow team gave out travel maps and information, as well as providing information about different bicycles and cycle training opportunities.
Unfortunately, Dr Bike was told he had to self-isolate – we hope he is well, and will certainly try to organise another opportunity for the free bicycle servicing and repairs.
The event showed that Bushy Park green space is a great place for small events – and there is plenty of interest in sustainable transport.
