Can do Bristol is a new volunteering platform that has been developed for Bristol. Bristol City Council are working with Made Open Communications Ltd who supply the software for this community networking platform.
Their press release states:
“We’d love you to start to use it to recruit volunteers, ask for materials and to fund raise. Can do Bristol is for individual people and organisations, the sign up is pretty simple and once you have registered as a user you can then make your ‘ask’ by starting a project (left hand side of your screen). If you’re looking to volunteer, the Activity Stream contains all the current requests, you should be able to see that straight away. We have spent a while making sure all the bugs are removed, however, as you are effectively ‘pioneers’ of the site, you may discover some little faults still left. Please could you report them by clicking the ‘Report a bug’ button in the bottom left of your screen. Alternatively if you wish to speak to someone, please contact Dom on 07584480615.
Over the next few months we will be adding new features which we think you will find useful – we’ll keep you posted as they’re about to go ‘live’.”
